Bristol Parks and Recreation is currently holding a Trailer Contest. To enter submit your trailer by 9/1/17 to ParksandRecreation@bristol.ct.gov for a chance to win one of the top three prizes.
Videos should highlight Bristol in a fun and exciting way, be no shorter than 60 seconds and no longer than 2 min and be PG. Top three videos will be showed at “Family Movie Night” on September 8th.

All videos should be submitted entirely or by link to ParksandRecreation@bristol.ct.gov by September 1st with the email subject line reading “Create a Trailer Contest.”
The top 3 submissions will be presented prior to “Family Movie Night” at Muzzy Field on September 8th. Rain date will be September 9th.
No purchase is necessary to enter, however the top three videos will be presented at a closed event (Family Movie Night).
Bristol Parks and Recreation will feature, “The LEGO Batman Movie” at Family Movie Night.
Movie Night is sponsored by First Bristol Federal Credit Union.
Movie will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Originality
- Unique Cinematography
- Most likely to be a blockbuster
- Creative Costumes
- Exciting Dialogue

3rd Place Prize: Batman T-Shirt
2nd Place Prize: $50 Bristol Parks and Recreation Program Gift Card
1st Place Prize: Family 4 pack of movie passes and popcorn to AMC Plainville 20 Movie Theater
Rules for Submissions
All video and photos must be taken by the contestant. By submitting, each contestant acknowledges and warrants that the submitted video/ photographs are original, the contestant is the sole copyright holder, and no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the submitted photographs.
Entries are void if the contest organizers determine that a submitted image is not original. Contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify without notice any photographs deemed at their sole discretion inappropriate or those that fail to comply with these guidelines.
All entries must be from current Bristol Residents.
All submissions must be at least 60 seconds and no longer than 2 minutes, appropriate to be shown at a community event and must highlight Bristol’s Parks and Recreation. Submissions must be emailed to ParksandRecreation@bristol.ct.gov with the subject line reading “Create a Trailer Contest.”
Winners will be notified via e-mail or the social media account used to submit the photo, and winning photographers will receive the 3 top prizes along with free admission to Family Movie Night for winner and 4 guests.

By participating in the Bristol Parks and Recreation Movie Trailer Contest (Contest), participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers and partners from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activities. Contest organizers assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in telephone network or lines; computer online systems; servers or providers; computer equipment; human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof.
