The best kept secret in Hip Hop is coming to Bristol. Self Suffice will be presenting a workshop "Breaking Writer's Block;  Dissolving Stage Fright. Writing, speaking and performing
skills to create peaceful class rooms and confident speakers!"
and will perform during our free Summer Concert Series in conjunction with Bristol Parks and Recreation on Tuesday, July 17th.

The workshop will take place at Mrs. Rockwell's Pavilion from 5:00 - 6:30 PM on July 17th, and is open to all ages of the public.  Before the main event, international recording artist and creativity coach Self Suffice will present a streamlined version of the critically acclaimed RapOetry Workshop. While creating a collaborative performance piece (in the genre of Rap/Hip-Hop/Spoken Word poetry), participants will practice stepping beyond stage fright, maintaining a creative flow state, and breaking writer's block." Only twenty-four spots are available!

Following the workshop, join Bristol Parks and Recreation and Self Suffice for a concert at the Rockwell Park Amphitheatre, where he will perform a selection of his most popular songs! Check out his work at rapoet.bandcamp.com!

Khaiim the RapOet lectures on Edutainment (making education fun and using entertainment to teach) at Trinity, Yale, and other colleges. Yet his fans tend to catch him leaping off stages, performing globally with everyone from Pulitzer Prize poets like Alice Walker to Grammy winning MCs like Common.HipHop heads know him as Self Suffice, the charismatic crowd surfer whose album with J Cole's engineer Mez summited the Indie Hip-Hop Top 40. His positive use of rap music has been recognized by Obama's Champions of Change, the NY Times, NPR, and others. See his live band at a college near you, performing the new album "Self Control".
